Dr. Madhu Yelameli is a fellowship trained board certified Anesthesiologist and Pain Medicine Specialist who has been in active pain practice since 2004. Dr. Yelameli completed his medical education from Mysore Medical College in India and moved to US in 1999.
After one year's training in surgery he completed residency in anesthesiology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York. Followed by this he underwent rigorous interventional pain medicine fellowship training at St. Luke - Roosevelt Hospital Center, Columbia University, New York. He then served with the Veterans Affairs Hospitals in Illinois and Nashville/Murfreesboro campuses where he introduced advanced pain procedures for the first time. Dr. Yelameli is presently affiliated with Williamson Medical Center where he holds surgical privileges for placement of spinal cord stimulator implants and morphine/baclofen pump implants.
Dr. Yelameli is an active member of American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), World Institute of Pain (WIP), International Association for Study of Pain (IASP) and North Americal Neuromodulation Society (NANS).
